Pastors Chris and Kate have devoted their lives to helping people encounter Jesus, find meaningful community, and become firmly anchored in biblical truth.
Chris has served in full-time ministry for more than 20 years. Raised by church planters in Texas, he saw firsthand the faith, sacrifice, and love for people required to build a life-giving church. Throughout his ministry, Chris has served on the teams of some of the largest churches in America, including roles as a campus pastor and teaching pastor.
Over time, God placed a clear and compelling call on Chris and Kate’s lives to plant Anchor Church—a biblically bold church in Central Florida where people from every background can experience the hope of Jesus and find a place to call home.
Kate brings a deep love for hospitality and a genuine gift for making people feel seen, valued, and welcome. She has served in ministry and held leadership roles with nonprofit organizations for many years. Her passion for design and creating meaningful spaces helps shape the warm, intentional culture of Anchor Church.
Together, Chris and Kate are passionate about building a church where God’s Word is proclaimed without compromise and people can discover that hope truly has a home. They are the proud parents of Riley, Reece, and Ella.
